BOC Gases Profit Up - Friday, November 03, 2006

BOC Kenya recorded a 15 per cent growth in profitability for the financial year ending September 30.

Profit before tax leaped to Sh334 million from Sh291 million, while turnover was up by 12 per cent to Sh1.1 billion from Sh987 million the previous year.

BOC Gases, a company listed at the Nairobi Stock Exchange and with operations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, recorded a profit of Sh226 million for the year ending September 2006.
