Short Profile
The Jubilee Insurance Company Limited was incorporated on 3rd August 1937. It began as a composite insurer involved in life and general insurance and provider of mortgage finance. The fledgling company was headquartered in small offices in Mombasa with a staff of six. It operated through agency offices across East Africa, with branches in Nairobi, Dar-es-Salaam, Kampala, Karachi and Bombay. The Karachi branch evolved into a separate company, New Jubilee Insurance Company Limited.
